Last weekend, I got to hike, for the first time, with some of my friends at Mt. Balagbag. I never thought I could conquer such because I'm NOT FIT. *Laughs everywhere* However it contained some of my favorite things: the walking, the sun, the company, the laughs, the food, etc.
Every step we took, we snapped pictures almost everywhere at every angle. I missed taking pictures. I was too blown away by the view that I did not really get pretty shots of the scenic mountains. If ever, it would include my friends taking pictures of it. I was overwhelmed how nature is so beautiful and so are my friends. The way they hold onto their phones and camera and just capture everything.
When we reached the peak, I had the most astonishing realization. I felt insignificant. There are so much wonders worth seeking and worth admiring. I could get lost in between. We had lunch at the peak as well. The amount of food we brought was not lavish yet I was contented. It made clear to me that sometimes I do not need so much to be satisfied. Maybe it is better if it is less. I also couldn't believe just watching the landscape is something I do not have to pay for.
Going back down, we had short moments where we all started running. It almost felt like a scene from naturo off to some mission or somewhere idk. I tried taking pictures while running. Well, it turned out fun lol.
I enjoyed the hike so much as much I loved how the edited pictures turned out. Thank you Pauline, Jam, Arick and Bert.
Nature has given so much yet it doesn't ask for anything in return.
