"Suddenly, “Hey!” shouted Nicholas, my neighbour. I quickly held back my
tears as he was helping me rescue Joe. “Nothing can scare us,” said Kevin. “Yeah,”
Nick agreed. They continued hurting the animal. Nicholas picked up a grain of sand
and threw to them. The sand went into their eyes and let go of Joe. I quickly walked
towards Joe, sweeping the sand off its body, I gently picked Joe up. I lovingly
cradled him and stroke its head. His body had scratches and blood oozing out.
Anger rushed through them and dashed towards Nicholas. I saw Kevin and Nick
running after Nicholas, I was frightened. “I’m going to take the both of you to thepolice,” Nicholas warned, “and see how it feels like to be hurt by other people.”
Kevin and Nick suddenly stopped right front of Nicholas and took a moment to
realise what they had done. I did not know what was going on as I saw Kevin and
Nick stopped right in front of Nicholas not punching, hurting and not even saying
anything."
